Chain of custody
A credible chain of custody means documentation at every transfer point — mine, refinery, trader, manufacturer, retailer. Each link reduces the chance of substitution or misrepresentation.
For coloured stones, country-of-origin documentation from a recognised laboratory adds a further layer. For diamonds, the Kimberley Process is the floor, not the ceiling.
Laboratory partnerships
We work only with laboratories whose grading methodology is publicly documented and independently reviewed. Reports are issued under the stone's own reference number and travel with the piece throughout its life.
