1. Scope
These General Conditions govern access to mintofgold.com and distance sales concluded with Mint of Gold. By placing an order or creating an account you confirm that you have read and accept them. Specific product notes on certificates, shipping or returns may supplement these terms.
2. Eligibility and account
You must be legally capable of entering into a contract. Account credentials are personal; you are responsible for keeping them confidential and for activity under your account. We may suspend accounts used fraudulently or in breach of these terms.
3. Products and prices
Offers are subject to availability. Prices are shown in the currency indicated on the product or checkout page and include applicable VAT unless stated otherwise. We may correct obvious pricing errors before accepting an order and will notify you so you may cancel if you wish.
Natural diamonds and precious metals are unique; slight variations from photographs are normal. Certificate numbers and grading details form part of the product identity where supplied.
4. Orders and payment
An order constitutes an offer to buy. Acceptance is confirmed by email once payment is authorised and stock is verified. We reserve the right to refuse orders that appear fraudulent, incomplete or contrary to regulatory requirements.
Payment methods available at checkout are processed by regulated providers. Title to goods passes on full payment; risk passes on delivery according to the carrier terms selected.
5. Delivery
Delivery options, estimated timeframes and costs are shown at checkout. High-value shipments may require signature, identity checks or insured courier. Delays caused by customs, incomplete addresses or force majeure are outside our reasonable control; we will keep you informed where possible.
6. Withdrawal and returns
Where EU consumer withdrawal rights apply to distance contracts, you may withdraw within fourteen (14) days of receiving the goods, subject to statutory exceptions — for example sealed goods unsealed after delivery where those cannot be returned for health or hygiene reasons, or goods made to your specifications.
Returned items must be unused, in original packaging with certificates and documents. Contact service@mintofgold.com to arrange an authorised return. Refunds are issued to the original payment method after inspection, less non-refundable shipping where permitted by law.
7. Warranties
Legal guarantees of conformity apply to consumers under applicable law. Additional manufacturer or Mint of Gold assurances, if any, are stated with the product or in accompanying documents.
8. Liability
Nothing in these conditions limits liability for fraud, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any other liability that cannot be limited by law. Otherwise our liability for any claim arising from an order is limited to the amount paid for the goods concerned.
9. Governing law and disputes
These conditions are governed by Belgian law, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence. Consumers may use the EU Online Dispute Resolution platform or bring claims before the courts of their domicile or Brussels, as applicable.
